Students will:
- Experience growth in knowledge and abilities in order to succeed in the student affairs profession
- Apply theory to practice through the reciprocal relationship between coursework and field-based experiences
- Pursue life-long learning through continuing education and professional development opportunities which promote flexibility both personally, professionally, and in meeting the changing needs of students
- Understand and utilize university and student affairs resources
- Participate in a variety of collaborative and cooperative experiences to learn the value of teamwork
- Benefit from networking opportunities with former SAAHE students, peers, higher education professionals, and members of profesional organizations
